Role Overview: A well-established company in Hamriyah Free Zone, Sharjah is hiring a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Clerk to join its finance team. This position is ideal for individuals with strong accounting knowledge and a hands-on approach to daily financial operations.
Data Entry & Documentation: As an Accounting Clerk, your primary responsibility will be to perform accurate data entry, document scanning, and electronic record keeping. Ensuring precision in every financial record is essential to maintaining the integrity of our accounting system.
Journal Entries: You will assist in the preparation of journal entries, working closely with the senior accountant to ensure timely posting and reconciliation of accounts. A basic understanding of debits, credits, and ledger systems is crucial.
Record Management: Keeping organized and well-maintained records is a key part of the role. This includes typing, filing, and archiving financial documentation in accordance with company policy and UAE accounting regulations.
Educational Background: While a B.Com (Bachelor of Commerce) is preferred, we also welcome candidates with equivalent qualifications and practical accounting experience. What matters most is your ability to contribute effectively to the accounting team.
Communication & Language Skills: The role requires good English and Hindi communication skills, as you will be interacting with internal teams and possibly external vendors. Clear reporting and documentation are part of the daily tasks.
