Financial Accounting Role The Accountant – Oil & Gas will be responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting activities of the company, ensuring compliance with UAE financial regulations and company policies. The role demands high attention to detail, accuracy in handling financial data, and the ability to manage multiple financial tasks simultaneously.

General Ledger and Reporting You will oversee General Ledger (GL) functions, ensuring that all financial transactions are properly recorded and reconciled. Preparation of journal entries, trial balances, and monthly reports will form a core part of your duties, supporting management in financial planning and decision-making.

Accounts Payable and Receivable Management As part of your role, you will handle invoices, payments, and receipts, maintaining accurate records of transactions. Ensuring timely reconciliation of accounts and managing payables/receivables efficiently will be vital for maintaining smooth financial operations.

Compliance and Audit Support You will ensure adherence to accounting standards, internal controls, and external audit requirements. Your responsibilities will include assisting auditors with financial documentation and supporting year-end closing processes with precision.

Software and Data Management Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel is essential for this position. You will be expected to generate analytical reports, maintain financial databases, and leverage software tools to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency.

Professional Collaboration Working closely with the finance team and management, you will contribute to process improvements and cost efficiency measures. Clear communication and teamwork are key in supporting business goals and maintaining transparent financial records.
