Position Overview: Al Khalidiya Group, a leading UAE-based organization with 13 successful subsidiaries spanning Aluminium, Glass, Waterproofing, Joinery, and Care Services, is looking for a dedicated Accountant to join its Abu Dhabi office. The ideal candidate will manage comprehensive accounting functions, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to both company policies and UAE regulations. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:The Accountant will handle day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management. You will prepare financial statements, perform reconciliations, manage payroll and VAT returns, and support the overall financial planning of the organization. Additionally, you will assist with budgeting, forecasting, and ensure all statutory compliance is met efficiently.

Financial Reporting and Compliance: This role emphasizes accurate preparation and maintenance of financial statements and reports. You will ensure that all accounting practices are in line with UAE regulations and internal company policies. Attention to detail and consistency in reporting are essential, as your work will support audits and provide transparency to management for strategic decision-making.

Audit and Documentation Support: The Accountant will play a crucial role during internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation, schedules, and reports. You will ensure all financial records are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant, supporting a smooth and efficient audit process. Your contributions will be vital for maintaining the company’s financial integrity.

Team Collaboration and Communication: You will collaborate with management, finance teams, and other departments to gather data, address accounting queries, and ensure smooth financial operations. Strong communication skills are required to clearly explain financial information and to coordinate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
